Last adventure on Caribou island

On our last day we jump on the bikes and head the other direction on the Island just to see what's there and we come across Tagatay viewpoint it was really nice and peaceful as we are the only ones there.. .We also got a little rain while we were parked there.

So after an endless amount of selfies we jump back on the bikes and head out to find this nice Beach Bar Videoke and we hang out there for a few beers to top off our last note on the Island here are some pics of those moments.

Our last day on the Island

I had stopped writing this as it seems I have no viewers but I realized it would be great for Melanie and I to look back on for years to come.

We have had quite a good time here in the Province and will miss our adopted family once we go. Our morning's start down at the watering area collecting water for the day and then coffee and catch up on Social Media messages.

We had a great day at the Beach two days ago and we also went to another Cliff Diving spot yesterday it  has really been a lot of fun.  The plan was to go to Boracay for a couple of nights but the lack of effort when it comes to planning by our group has left us to abandon those plans and just head back to Panay Island and make our way South to Illoillo. Here are a few pics of our last couple of days... ..Oh yeah we also met famous Vlogger Bisayang Hilaw.

Motor ride around Caribou Island

Today we started out with a ride around the island it was awesome despite the fact that the road system is not yet complete... there were several moments where we were driving on rough dirt roads and I’m sure if the Raider could talk it would give me an earful.

We rode for only about 25 minutes and came upon a place called kuding kuding cave and cliff jump and wow this place was awesome..only 100p for day use and it was the best pesos we have ever spent. I jumped off the cliff 6 times my self
 and my cousin jumped at least 5 times too. The rest of the group took hundreds of selfies and my lovely wife went swimming with her cousin.

Caribou Island

Now we are here staying with our presidents family they welcomed us with open arms. . They liveon a compound of 6 homes it is really nice here but no running water and the power is down from 6am to 2pm.

The one thing that is easy is alcohol as the sari sari 3 minutes down the road and has a nice selection. Melanie and I have our own Bedroom in one of the houses complete with electric fan.

We are excited about Caribou Festival tomorrow. Pics for your enjoyment.
